Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on this website.
1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to the owners of the site.
Cookies set by the website operator are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the website operator are called "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable features or functionality provided by external services (such as analytics) to be embedded within the site.
2.How we use cookies
ClayShooting.co.uk uses cookies for several purposes. Some cookies are necessary for technical reasons in order for our website to operate -- we refer to these as "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies enable us to track and understand how visitors engage with our site, which helps us improve the experience for all users.
The specific types of cookies we use and the purposes they perform are described below.
3.Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. Without these cookies, the website or certain features may not work correctly.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |

| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | Used during the authentication flow to verify sign-in requests and prevent cross-site request forgery. | Session | Strictly Necessary |
4.Functional cookies
These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these features may not function properly.

| cookie_consent | ClayShooting.co.uk | Remembers your cookie consent preference so you are not asked again on each visit. | 1 year | Functional |
5.Analytics cookies
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us understand which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

| _gat | Google Analytics | Used to throttle the request rate to Google Analytics, limiting data collection on high-traffic sites. | 1 minute | Analytics |
6.How to control cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Please note that removing or blocking cookies may impact your user experience and some features may no longer be fully accessible.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete and block cookies for a website. Be aware that if you delete all cookies then any preferences you have set will be lost, including the ability to opt out from cookies as this function itself requires placement of an opt-out cookie on your device. Guidance on how to do this for the most popular browsers can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org.
Google Analytics opt-out
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on communicates with Google Analytics to indicate that data about your visit should not be sent to Google Analytics.
Cookie consent banner
When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept all cookies, accept only essential cookies, or customise your preferences. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.
7.Changes to this cookie policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please re-visit this page regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies.
The date at the bottom of this page indicates when it was last updated.
